Abstract

If the matters are seen in the view of qi(氣), we cannot tell the difference between the mind-body and the matter-mind. Qi is filling our body as well as the whole universe. As the qi filled in the universe is gathered, expanded or exchanged, its dynamic power brings out the process of generation, change and perishment of everything. Qi is the source of life and it circulates in the body to maintain the life. As the author have believed the existence of powerful sanggi(vital force) energy with intellectual perception ability in the universe, the therapy seems very important to raise the health and the vitality by communicating with the sanggi energy of nature to refresh the qi when it is deficient or unbalanced in the human body. “Sanggido(生氣道)” is a discipline method to use “the cosmic sanggi energy” of the cosmic mind by communicating “the sanggi energy” with Great Universe. “The cosmic sanggi energy” can be introduced to treat the personal health and diseases of people. It is called “Sanggido Therapy(生氣道療法)” and the persons who can use it “the sanggido therapist”. The method to communicate “the cosmic sanggi energy” is as follows: First, it is learned or transferred. The transferred persons are called "the mind-hand healer". Second, it can be practiced in qigong. There are six steps of self practice. Each step has the practice of simply designed basic four postures, which are standing, kneeling, sitting and bending postures. The 6 steps of practice are composed of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th levels for hand therapy and 6th for hangeul therapy for the efficient practice. The author believes that the Sanggido and the Sanggido Therapy exchanging and using the cosmic sanggi energy will be a good way for people to escape from the diseases and improper environment and to keep their life, mind, body and spirit healthy.
